We played Fabled: The Spirit Lands last night from We played Fabled: The Spirit Lands last night from @crowd.games. It was a little daunting to get started, but ultimately I enjoyed the game. The gameplay loop is rather simple, but is complicated by the various allies and special locations. The points are hard to come by, but feel satisfying when you earn them. And finding that perfect engine/synergy between your allies ends up being the key to victory. I just wish the iconography was a little more clear. #boardgames #gaming #tabletopgames

Introduced my son to #FreedomFive tonight. We play Introduced my son to #FreedomFive tonight. We played through Bad Moon Falling. There’s a lot of fiddly stuff going on, but ultimately had a good time. We need to watch another tutorial to make sure we are getting everything right. And it’s nice seeing all the painted minis in-game.
